French Regence ormolu mounted parquetry inlaid commode A Vantaux after the model by Charles Cressent, by Frederic-Louis Durand and Fils, Paris, circa 1730, with a serpentine marble top above two conforming long drawers sans traverse decorated with a central banded shaped flanked by C-scrolls and centered at the top by ormolu shell figure suspending a foliate trail, flanked by foliate handles, surrounded with ormolu bands, angles headed by trellis acanthus leaves mounts on chute-edged tapering legs ending in paw feet sabots.
