A transitional French marquetry commode, after the mode by Pierre Antoine Foullet, late 19th century, with featured molded and shaped marble top above ormolu engraved bands on two small drawers to each side supported by a conforming case of two larger drawers, with ormolu mounts ornamentations of ormolu bands, foliate ormolu mounts and ribbons, light and dark inlays of marquetry and veneers raised on cabriole legs with foliate ormolu cast sabots.
